Unladylike

“Unladylike” is a compilation that highlights badass contemporary female artists who are unafraid of taking on subjects, themes, and materials that are traditionally perceived as being “taboo”, “inappropriate” or “masculine” in nature. This blog servers to showcase great women artists, both emerging and established in order to disproved preconceived notions pertaining to women in the art world. These women reclaim and redefine how we view art and our contemporary world by reconsidering and modifying the traditional values that have been formed by complacency in our society.
